No Petrol Without Helmet for Two-Wheeler Riders from Today

In a new safety rule, two-wheeler drivers will not be given petrol at fuel stations without wearing a helmet, aimed at promoting road safety and reducing accidents.

If you are also driving a two-wheeler in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, then this news is of your use. Petrol will not be available without helmet at petrol pumps across the district from Wednesday. 'No helmet, no petrol' campaign has been strictly implemented in the district. Only emergency services, medical emergencies and people wearing religious turbans will be given relief.

Let us tell you that Durg Collector Abhijeet Singh has issued orders to all petrol pump operators with the aim of reducing road accidents and making the traffic system smooth. Along with this, petrol pump operators have been instructed to put up a board or poster of No Helmet No Petrol in the premises. Action will be taken against them for violating the order.

Tension of petrol pump operators increased

On one hand, this order can prove beneficial in terms of safety of common citizens. On the other hand, the concern of reduced sales has increased among petrol pump operators.
