A non-professional badminton tournament was organized at Arena Badminton Academy located in Mowa in the capital Raipur. Players from Chhattisgarh as well as Nagpur and Hyderabad also participated in the badminton tournament. News 24 MP-CG is the media partner in this tournament.

Giving information, coach Hemant Kumar said that this inter-club badminton tournament was organized especially for people doing business or jobs. This event was organized with the aim of motivating those who are unable to pay attention to health in their daily busy routine towards fitness.

He said that the main objective of this tournament is that people include sports like badminton in their fitness routine. This can be a better option for those who exercise. Such events keep people's interest in sports and also increase awareness about fitness.

The coach said that children are not included in this tournament, it has been organized only for adults. Participants between the ages of 30 and 40 are participating in it. The purpose of the tournament is that people of this age group should be aware of their health and make sports a part of their daily routine.

He said that whatever hard work we do, we later give a large part of it to the doctors. It is better that we pay attention to our health from now on, eat good food, get enough sleep and participate in sports regularly. We want to give this message that people should give priority to their health.

Badminton player Milen Gautam said that teams from different places have come to Chhattisgarh. People from Nagpur and Bengaluru have also participated. The semi-final match is also being held. People between 30 to 40 years are participating in it. 64 teams have participated in it. The Arena located in Mowa is the best court. We are organizing the event successfully. In future, we will organize more tournaments in Raipur.
