Pension Scam Exposed: 2 Clerks Suspended for Illegal Recovery from Widows

Now departmental action has been taken against two clerks who illegally recovered money from widowed women in the name of pension. Clerk Mazhar Khan and Khorbahara Dhruv have been suspended with immediate effect. The District Education Officer has issued an order in this regard. The police have already arrested both the accused in the case.

Let us tell you that the case was related to the Fingeshwar BEO office. Where after the death of Gesaram Diwan and Chainsingh Diwan, who were serving as teachers in the block, clerk Mazhar Khan, who was handling the pension branch, and clerk Khorbahara Dhruv of Borid High School, took a bribe of Rs 4.80 lakh from the widows of both of them in the name of giving the amount of allowance and preparing the pension case. The bribes were taken in December 2024 but till date the widows of the teachers had not received the benefit of the scheme. When the victims Vishakha Bai and Desh Bai had complained about the matter earlier, it was ignored. BJP leader Pritam Sinha complained about the matter to the SP, only then action was taken.

SP Nikhil Rakhecha had instructed the station in-charges to take action in view of the sensitivity of the matter. On the basis of the complaints of the victims coming in their respective police station areas, the Phingeshwar and Chhura police registered a crime against both the accused in both the police stations under various sections of fraud and arrested the accused.

The son died due to lack of treatment

Vishakha, the widow of Ges Narayan, a resident of Patora, said that the amount was withdrawn from the NPA account on the demand of clerk Kholbahara. A cheque of Rs 2 lakh was given for withdrawing this amount, in which taking advantage of the letters not being written, the greedy clerk Khorbahara withdrew Rs 2.80 lakh from the cheque instead of Rs 2 lakh. The withdrawal limit on NPA amount got over. Meanwhile, the victim's son fell ill and she needed money for treatment. The money was not received on time due to which the widow Vishakha's son also died due to lack of treatment. Neither the husband nor the son were alive, the money also got over, despite this the education department officials remained silent. However, now the victim has a hope of justice.

Akalwara Headmaster Chain Singh's widow Desh Bai Neighborid School Peon Khorbahara Dhruv told the police that the clerk of Fingeshwar BEO office Mazhar Khan gave a bribe of 2 lakhs in the name of getting the amount of allowance and preparing the pension case.
