PM Modi’s heartfelt ‘Dil Ki Baat’ with children

On the occasion of Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a special ceremony held at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Naya Raipur (Atal Nagar) on Saturday.
During the event, as part of the ‘Dil Ki Baat’ (Heart-to-Heart) programme, he met children who have recovered from serious heart ailments and regained a new lease on life.
The Prime Minister began the event by offering floral tributes to the statue of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
He then held a warm interaction with children who had undergone successful heart surgeries and presented them with certificates.
According to hospital officials, over 2,500 children have received successful heart treatments at the hospital so far.
Joy on children’s faces, PM Modi shares affection
The children were visibly overjoyed to meet the Prime Minister. Modi spoke to each child personally, wishing them a bright and healthy future.
He said, “The courage of these children is an inspiration for all of us. Service in the field of healthcare is the truest form of humanity.”
Inauguration of ‘Shanti Shikhar’
After the ‘Dil Ki Baat’ event, PM Modi inaugurated the ‘Shanti Shikhar’ center of the Brahma Kumaris organization in Naya Raipur.
This modern institute of meditation, yoga, and spiritual education aims to promote peace and self-reflection in society.
“Development of the state drives development of the nation”: PM Modi
In his address, the Prime Minister said:
“The development of a state determines the course of the nation’s growth.
Chhattisgarh, in its 25-year journey, has achieved remarkable progress and is now playing a vital role in India’s overall development.”
He extended greetings to the people of Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and other states also celebrating their Foundation Days, and appreciated organizations like Brahma Kumaris for their contribution to building a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) through positive thinking and spirituality.
Remembering past associations
PM Modi recalled his long-standing connection with the Brahma Kumaris movement, saying:
“I have seen this spiritual movement grow like a vast banyan tree.
Attending events in Ahmedabad, Prayagraj, and Mount Abu has become almost a tradition for me.”
He added that the Brahma Kumaris have played an active role in national campaigns like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, setting an example of how spirituality can guide society in a positive direction.
