Raipur is abuzz with preparations for a significant visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be the chief guest at the state's upcoming Statehood Day celebrations on November 1st. The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in the capital on the evening of October 31st and will stay at the M-01 bungalow in Naya Raipur.

Administrative and police machinery in Raipur is working at full throttle to ensure the visit proceeds seamlessly. In a high-level meeting, Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh directed all department heads to ensure flawless coordination and high-quality execution of all responsibilities. He emphasized that no lapses would be tolerated and that daily progress reports on the preparations are being closely monitored.

PM Modi's itinerary for November 1st is packed, with plans for him to attend five key programs. While the specific details of the events are yet to be fully disclosed, the focus is expected to be on development projects and the state's cultural showcase.

Security has been significantly heightened across the city. The Special Protection Group (SPG) and local police are leaving no stone unturned, with advanced security arrangements, including drone surveillance, bomb disposal squads, and special forces, being put in place. The route from Naya Raipur to the event venue is also undergoing last-minute repairs and beautification.
