An inter-state gang involved in two-wheeler thefts has been caught by the police. Authorities have seized 10 stolen vehicles, marking a significant breakthrough in curbing vehicle thefts.

Taking the incidents of two-wheeler thefts in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district seriously, the police launched a special campaign. In this, the joint team of Cyber ​​Cell and Gaurela Police Station achieved great success and arrested two members of the inter-state bike thief gang, from whose possession 10 stolen two-wheelers have been recovered.

Suraj Chaudhary, son of Kamala Prasad Chaudhary and Sonu Yadav, son of Daduram Yadav, residents of Ward No. 14-15 Kudari, Police Station Naurozabad, Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh were arrested. During interrogation, both of them revealed the name of the main gang leader Mohammad Shahid alias Shakir, son of Mohammad Raheem, resident of Ward 9 of Naurozabad. The main accused had absconded as soon as he got the information about the arrest.

The three accused were carrying out the crimes while staying in a rented house in Madna area of ​​​​Gaurela. They used to target two-wheelers parked at places like railway station, Mangali Bazaar, bus stand. They used to steal vehicles by modifying the master key and opening the vehicle lock, after which the vehicles were sold at cheap prices with fake documents.

A total of 10 two-wheelers were recovered from the possession of the accused, which include four Hero HF Deluxe, 2 Hero Splendor, 2 Honda Shine, one TVS Apache and one TVS Victor.

Out of the recovered vehicles, 6 vehicles are related to theft crimes registered in Gaurela police station, while 4 additional two-wheelers have also been recovered, whose model, color, chassis number etc. information is being shared with all the nearby police stations, so that their owners can be traced and their links can be made with other theft cases.

In carrying out this action, under the leadership of Sub Inspector Cyber ​​Cell in-charge Suresh Dhruv, constables Harsh Gaharwar, Rajesh Sharma, Surendra Vishwakarma of Cyber ​​Cell and Assistant Sub Inspector Ashok Sonwani, Head Constable Dev Narayan Rathore and Jagdish Namdev from Gaurela police station were involved.
