Raipur Municipal Corporation to Use Robots for Water Problem Tests
Raipur,C.G
To tackle Raipur’s water issues, the Municipal Corporation will now deploy robots for conducting tests and inspections, aiming for faster and more accurate solutions.
The drinking water problem has not been solved even after four months in about four localities of Brahmanpara ward under Nagar Nigam Zone-4 Commissionerate. The situation here is such that even in the month of July-August, the citizens have started demanding tankers from councilor Ajay Sahu. Here, the Municipal Corporation has done many experiments since the summer season to solve the drinking water problem in this locality but it has not been successful. Now in this series of experiments, robotic lens will be used to check the condition inside the water pipeline. Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep said that the drinking water problem of this locality located in the middle of the city is also a constant challenge for the corporation. Its solution will be found soon. Here, Ward Councilor Mr. Sahu said that the officers are not taking proper and concrete action to solve the problem, this is the result of this.
On robotic investigation, Executive Engineer of Water Works Department in the Corporation, Narsingh Farendra said that this robot machine of Sonalite Company has been specially made for drinking water pipeline. After testing with this machine in Durg, good results were also obtained. That is why under the pilot project, we will put the machine in the pipeline of the area behind Sohaga temple in Brahmanpara. He told that the corporation will not have to pay anything for this test. If its results are correct then it will be sent to other wards with drinking water problems.
Distribution entangled in Idgah Bhata and Moti Bagh tank
Water supply in Brahmanpara ward is being done from Moti Bagh tank and Idgah Bhata tank. The nearest tank for this ward is Idgah Bhata. Water supply in some parts of Sindhi Gali ahead of Bhoipara including Dhobipara, Panchpathpara Gali, Awadhiya Para is being done from Idgah Bhata tank. Despite this, people are not getting enough water here also. For this, the corporation also sanctioned about 40 lakh rupees to replace the pipeline from Sarathi Chowk and lay a new line. This work has not started yet.
