A major fire broke out at Porwal Oil Factory in Raipur's Urla industrial area on Friday, sending thick black smoke billowing across the city and triggering an emergency response from fire and police authorities. The blaze, which reportedly started during a sampling process inside the factory, was eventually brought under control after intensive firefighting efforts. One employee sustained minor injuries and was shifted to a hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred at the Porwal Oil Factory, a facility involved in manufacturing bituminous products using recycled tire materials.
