Raipur Youth Dies After Slipping in Waterfall

A tragic accident happened inof Chhattisgarh. A young man slipped from the waterfall and fell down. He died on the spot in the accident. The deceased had come here to visit with his friends.

According to the information, Gopal Chandrakar and his 5 friends from Raipur had reached Malanjkudum waterfall on Saturday. During this time Gopal went into the danger zone and fell down due to slipping of feet on the smooth stone. The youth's friends informed the police about the incident, but due to darkness the rescue could not be done at night. On Sunday morning, the team of Nagar Sena and divers rescued and recovered the body of the youth.

It is worth noting that accidents have been happening every year in Malanjkudum waterfall, but no concrete arrangements have been made so far for the safety of tourists. Two youths had died here in 2022 as well. The continuous accidents have exposed the mismanagement and security arrangements at tourist places.
