Rajim-Raipur MEMU Trains from Sept 18

On the new broad gauge rail line, MEMU trains will now run from the capital Raipur to Rajim via Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Abhanpur. Railways have approved the Rajim-Raipur MEMU train service. At the same time, the timetable of MEMU train service has also been released by the Railways. The commercial stoppage of Raipur-Rajim MEMU train service will be at Mandirhasaud, CBD, Kendri, Abhanpur, Manikchauri and Rajim.

Additional Divisional Railway Manager Bajrang Agarwal and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Awadhesh Kumar Trivedi of Raipur Railway Division on Saturday laid down the outline for starting the rail service between Rajim Raipur from September 18 at Rajim station. He took stock of the parking, stage, movement of visitors and seating arrangements for the chief guests at the station. According to officials, Rajim Raipur rail service will start at 11 am on September 18. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will flag off this train from Rajim. MPs, MLAs, public representatives and local people will be present on this occasion. By connecting Rajim, the major religious, cultural and tourist place of Chhattisgarh, to the broad gauge network, this region will have direct rail access to big cities. This will not only provide fast, safe and convenient travel options to the passengers. But regional trade, agriculture, pilgrimage and tourism will also get new opportunities, which will give impetus to the local economy.

New Raipur-Rajim MEMU train timetable New Raipur-Rajim MEMU train will leave Raipur station at 4.45 pm and reach Mandir Hasaud at 05:03-05:05, CBDPH at 05:15-05:16, Kendri at 05:30-05:32, Abhanpur at 05:43-05:45, Manikchauri at 05:56-05:57, Rajim at 06.20. Similarly, Rajim Raipur MEMU train will depart from Rajim at 06.45 hrs, reach Manikchauri PH at 06:59-07:00 hrs, Abhanpur at 07:13-07:15 hrs, Kendri at 07:26-07:28 hrs, CBD at 07:41-07:42 hrs, Mandir Hasaud at 07:53-07:55 hrs and reach Raipur at 08:20 hrs.
