Rotten Body of Missing Youth Found in Forest in Chhattisgarh

The decomposed body of a missing youth was discovered in a forested area in Chhattisgarh, triggering panic and speculation among locals. The police have begun a thorough investigation to determine the cause of death and possible foul play. The identity of the youth has been confirmed by family members.

 
 

A sensation has spread after a rotten body of a young man was found in the dense forests of Mainpat in the district. The deceased has been identified as Suraj alias Bablu Yadav, who was missing for the last three days. When the villagers went to the forest after the foul smell spread, they found the body of the young man lying there. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and started investigating. Prima facie, murder is suspected.

According to the information, Suraj Yadav was a resident of village Bardand (Chorkipaani). He left home at around 3 pm on May 31, after which he did not return. The family searched for him in the surrounding areas but could not find any clue. Three days later on Monday, the villagers smelled a strong stench from the forest. When they went to the spot, a body was lying in a rotten state.

Sitapur police, which reached the spot, took the body in its possession after doing Panchnama action, sent it for post-mortem and is engaged in investigation. Prima facie, the case seems suspicious. Keeping in mind how the youth died, the police is investigating every aspect.
