RPF Controversy: DIG Not Attended at Night, SrDSC Seeks Clarification
Raipur,C.G
A surprising incident occurred in the RPF where the inspector and staff failed to attend the DIG during a night visit. When questioned, the staff stated that the officer was sleeping and they chose not to wake him. SrDSC has sought clarification via WhatsApp.
DG sahab… RPF is running a British era bureaucracy… Not attending the sleeping DIG cost the RPF officers so much that the SrDSC sought an explanation on the DIG’s order. Sources reveal that Mohammad Saquib (DIG-CSC) of South East Central Railway Zone passed through Rajnandgaon and Gondia a few days ago. Information about his visit had already been sent to the inspectors from Bilaspur Zone.
After this, RPF officers in Raipur and Durg received Mohammad Saquib (DIG-CSC) sahab. But the DIG had fallen asleep when the train arrived at Rajnandgaon and Gondia. Meanwhile, the train passed both the stations.
Probably when he woke up, he must have remembered whether RPF staff had come to receive him at Rajnandgaon and Gondia? Since he was asleep, it would not be clear to him whether the staff had come or not… He reprimanded the Senior DSC of Nagpur Railway Division that he did not see any staff at the two stations mentioned above.
