"Scholarship Deadline Extended for Students"

Great news for students! The scholarship application deadline has been extended until 30th November, ensuring no student misses this opportunity.

 

The Tribal Development Department has increased the time for online registration in Post Matric Scholarship 2025-26. Now students will be able to apply online three times a year - 31 May, 31 August and 30 November. This special facility is being given to the students because the results of different subjects are released on different dates, so that the students do not face any inconvenience. Students studying in all government, non-government colleges, universities, engineering, medical, nursing, polytechnic, ITI etc. colleges operating in the district, whose admission has been delayed or whose examination results have been declared late. The time for registration has been increased for such Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class students.

After the prescribed date, the portal for online application for Post Matric Scholarship for the academic session 2025-26 will be closed. And the opportunity to lock the Draft Proposal and Sanction Order will also not be provided. If the students of the concerned institutions are deprived of scholarship due to not completing the proceedings by the prescribed date, then the head of the institution will be responsible for this.

The eligibility for scholarship is as follows:-
Income limit of parents of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum, Income limit for Other Backward Classes Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum, Permanent caste certificate by competent authority, Domicile Certificate of Chhattisgarh, Examination result of previous year of the course being studied by the student.

Post Matric Scholarship is being paid in Aadhaar seeded bank account through PFMS. Therefore, all the students should ensure the entry of their active and Aadhaar seeded bank account while applying online.

In the year 2025-26, it is necessary for the students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes to obtain OTR (One Time Registration) from NSP Portal. For this, the instructions provided in the State Scholarship Portal can be seen.

In the year 2025-26, it is mandatory to do biometric-authentication of the Head of Institution (HOI) of the new institution and the Scholarship In-charge (NOI) of the institution.
