A high-speed car accident in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur claimed the lives of two students, including a PSC aspirant, while four others sustained serious injuries. The car, carrying six friends, overturned three times before veering off the road and plunging into thick bushes. The impact left the vehicle completely mangled.

The accident took place late Sunday night in the Koni police station area.

Six Friends Were Out for Dinner

According to police, all six youths had stepped out for dinner on Ratanpur Road. The victims were identified as Ishu Ratnakar (26), a PSC candidate, and Bhaskar Rajput (22). Ishu was driving the car, with Bhaskar seated in the front passenger seat, while the remaining four friends sat in the back.

Ishu’s younger brother Aryan Ratnakar, an LLB student, said both siblings lived in Bilaspur for their studies. The group included youths from Sakti district’s Dabhaura region and Bemetara district.
