Spotlight on Chhattisgarh: CM Vishnudev Sai’s Strategic Move to National Textile and Steel Events in Mumbai

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is set to participate in two major national events in Mumbai on April 23 and 24, 2025, focusing on the textile and steel industries. These events aim to showcase Chhattisgarh's new industrial policy and attract investments to the state.​

April 23 – CMAI Fab Show (Textile Sector): CM Sai will attend the CMAI Fab Show, organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India. He will present the state's new industrial policy, highlighting incentives such as land allotment, power subsidies, and export facilitation for the textile sector. Several major companies are expected to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for investment in the state during this event. ​

April 24 – India Steel 2025 (Steel Sector): The Chief Minister will participate in the inaugural session of India Steel 2025 as a special guest, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the event virtually. CM Sai will deliver a keynote address, outlining Chhattisgarh's strategy for developing specialized steel clusters, enhancing logistics infrastructure, and streamlining regulatory processes. A Chhattisgarh Round Table will also be held, facilitating direct interactions between the Chief Minister and potential investors to discuss opportunities and incentives in the steel industry. ​

Additionally, CM Sai will visit the Chhattisgarh State Pavilion at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, which will showcase the state's industrial infrastructure, investment opportunities, and policy support to attract national and international investors. ​

This two-day visit is part of Chhattisgarh's ongoing efforts to position itself as a favorable destination for industrial investment, particularly in the textile and steel sectors.
