Teachers' Liquor-Mutton Party Sparks Outrage on Parshuram Jayanti
On the sacred occasion of Parshuram Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya, a group of teachers hosted a liquor and mutton party within school premises, sparking public anger and raising serious questions about values in the "temple of education." The incident has deeply hurt sentiments and is under investigation.
While the whole of India was celebrating the festival of Lord Parshuram Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya with reverence, devotion and faith, on the other hand, an incident hurting faith has come to light from Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. In the Government Girls Higher Secondary School of Pithora Nagar of the district, goat party and branded liquor were consumed in the school premises on the day of the holy festival of Hindus. The religious sentiments of the people of the Hindu society have been hurt by this incident and there is a lot of resentment among them for the school administration.
According to the information, a farewell ceremony was organized for the serving teacher Kamaljeet Joseph and clerk Tansingh Verma in the school. In this, the teachers ignored the importance of the festival in the temple of education and also tore apart the decorum. In any school where children should be taught to walk on the right path and stay away from intoxication, it is highly condemnable to have such an event there. Such incidents send a wrong message to the society and also create a bad environment for children.
In this entire matter, the school's principal Asharam Bariha says that he did not care about the festival and unknowingly cooked goat's vegetable. Sorry for this. Giving an explanation, he said that the goat was not cooked in the school premises, rather the vegetable was cooked outside and brought to the school.
District Education Officer Mohan Rao Sawant said that a complaint has been received in this matter. A committee has been formed for investigation, in which the Assistant Director, BEO, BRC have been ordered to investigate and submit the report. Action will be taken if found guilty.
