 Patwari Revati Raman Singh Suspended for Fake Sale of Government Land

Patwari Revati Raman Singh has been suspended after being found involved in the fraudulent sale of government land. The incident came to light following a viral video showing a settlement of ₹1 lakh between the parties involved. The Collector of Neemuch, Himanshu Chandra, took immediate action, leading to Singh's suspension.

Patwari Revati Raman Singh posted in village Tendua of Kota tehsil has been suspended with immediate effect on the charge of being involved in illegal sale of government land. This action has been taken by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Kota, District Bilaspur.

According to the complaint received, the Patwari tried to sell the land of Khasra number 69/2 of the forest item in an illegal manner, the allegations of which were initially found to be true in the investigation. On this basis, action has been taken under Chhattisgarh Civil Services Rules 1966 and he has been suspended. During the suspension, Revati Raman Singh has been attached to the Tehsil office Ratanpur and he will get subsistence allowance.

Along with this, Tehsildar Kota has been instructed to issue notice to the suspended Patwari within a week and start departmental investigation. In view of the seriousness of the matter, the additional charge of Halka number 11 of village Tendua has now been handed over to Patwari Vinay Bole.
