Raipur. Pre-monsoon activities have started continuously in many parts of the state and it also rained at many places. Now the arrival of local tomatoes has reduced in many big vegetable markets of the state including the capital Raipur. Tomatoes are now coming to the state from Bangalore. Due to non-arrival of tomatoes from local gardens, the price has increased tremendously. On Tuesday, tomatoes were sold at Rs 350 to 400 per carat in the wholesale vegetable market. 10 days ago, tomatoes were sold at Rs 100 per carat. In just a few days, tomatoes have become completely red. Due to unseasonal rains, the price of tomatoes has jumped by about Rs 200. In the coming time, there may be a huge increase in the price of tomatoes and other vegetables.

Due to unseasonal rains in the state, the prices of not only tomatoes but all vegetables have increased. It is being told that the local crop has been ruined due to rain. Now the arrival of local vegetables has reduced in the market. Sellers say that now vegetables will become expensive. In 10 days, the price of tomatoes has quadrupled in wholesale. At the same time, prices of other vegetables have also increased sharply.
