Indian Railways has announced the cancellation of several trains passing through Chhattisgarh between April 11 and May 6, 2025. This is due to ongoing infrastructure development projects, including the construction of a third railway line between Rajnandgaon and Kalamna and the fourth line expansion on the Bilaspur-Jharsuguda route. These projects aim to enhance operational efficiency and connectivity in the region.
Bilaspur. The construction work of 4-lane elevated road cum road over bridge (ROB) is in progress at Siram Toli Chowk in Ranchi city under Ranchi division of South East Railway. Under the third and final phase of this project, traffic cum power block has been taken from 5 May to 30 May 2025, due to which the operation of trains will be affected on various dates.
Similarly, non-interlocking work will be done in the goods shed private siding located at Sagara railway station of Chakradharpur division from 11 May to 26 May 2025. Due to this work, the operation of many trains of South East Central Railway will be affected.
