Train Operations Disrupted on KK Rail Line Due to Heavy Rain

Due to torrential rains for two consecutive days and the red alert issued by the Meteorological Department, the operation of trains on the KK rail line has been disrupted. Due to security reasons, the railways have decided to cancel and divert many trains.
Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Night Express and Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Night Express will run on the changed route on August 18 and 19. Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Passenger and Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger will return after short terminating midway on August 18, while on August 19 both these passenger trains will be completely cancelled.
The railways have said that this step has been taken keeping in mind the safety of the passengers. Passengers are appealed to get information about the status of trains before traveling.
