Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid a courtesy visit to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, discussing key developmental and administrative matters.

Raipur. Union Rural Development and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who was on a visit to Chhattisgarh today, made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Chief Minister Sai welcomed Chouhan to Chhattisgarh and presented him with a symbol of Bastar Art and a shawl. Chief Minister Sai, while heartily welcoming and congratulating Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the holy land of Chhattisgarh, said that your dedication to the welfare of the poor, farmers and villages is inspiring for all of us. With your experience and guidance, the resolve of the double engine government will be further strengthened.

It is noteworthy that Union Minister Chouhan will participate in the “More Housing More Rights” program organized in Ambikapur tomorrow on 13 May. In this program, Chouhan will give the key of happiness to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and PM Janman Awas and will provide housing approval letters to the beneficiaries who have started housing construction by performing Bhoomi Pujan. Union Minister Chouhan will conduct the Griha Pravesh of the beneficiaries of 51 thousand newly constructed Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state. Along with this, he will also honour the sisters of self-help groups and Lakhpati sisters who have done excellent work.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Finance Minister OP Choudhary and other public representatives were present.
