Vande Bharat Hits Cattle, Nose Damaged

According to the railway, the cattle struck the nose of the Vande Bharat Express at 5:50 p.m. The driver stopped the train. A railway team arrived at the scene. After an engine inspection found everything to be fine, the train departed at 6:20 p.m. Some train operations were affected during this time.

A senior railway official stated that Vande Bharat is a high-speed train, and therefore, the outer nose of its engine is collapsible. This prevents the engine's basic structure from being affected by a collision. The engine's nose was damaged after the accident near Kota Gate. It was removed. Vande Bharat's repair depot is in Bilaspur, where repairs will be carried out.

The hub is capable of handling a wide variety of cargo, including pharmaceuticals, perishable goods such as vegetables, fruits, flowers, fish, high-value goods, and industrial machinery. This will provide Chhattisgarh's industries with quick access to national and international trade centers.
