Congress Forms Committee on Tribal Atrocities in MP

In response to the recent incidents in Ashoknagar and Sagar, Congress has constituted a committee of MLAs to investigate atrocities against tribals in Madhya Pradesh.

Atrocities on tribals are continuing in Madhya Pradesh. Congress has formed a committee regarding the increasing atrocities on tribals in the state. Congress has formed a committee regarding the incident in Ashok Nagar and Sagar districts of the state.

Tribal MLAs have been included in the committee. These include MLA Omkar Singh Markam, MLA Sunil Uike, MLA Abhijeet Shah, Ramu Tekam. The President of the Tribal Department will go to the spot. In both the cases, he will go to the spot and meet the victims and prepare a detailed report. The committee will submit the report to the state president.

Let us tell you that in Malthon of Sagar district, a tribal committed suicide after being harassed by a bully. Former minister Bhupendra Singh's close associates were accused of harassing the tribal. Similarly, in Chanderi of Ashoknagar district, the bullies set fire to the house of the tribal community. Along with setting the fire, women and children were beaten up.
