 Excise Department Cracks Down: Cases Filed Against 48 Individuals, Including Hotel and Dhaba Operators

 The excise department has registered cases against 48 individuals, including owners and operators of hotels and dhabas, following raids targeting illegal activities. Authorities aim to curb violations and ensure compliance with regulations.

The Excise Department has conducted a major raid late night in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Raids were conducted here for those who serve liquor at illegal places in the capital and keep dhabas and hotels open till late night. The Excise Department has registered a total of 48 cases while taking action.

Actually, the Excise Department raided the restaurants, hotels and dhabas of Kerwa Dam Road Ratibad Bairagarh Colony No. 10 area. Four teams of the Excise Department have taken separate major actions. Cases were registered under the sections of the Excise Act against those who consumed liquor at illegal places. The department has also registered cases against the operators and owners of hotels and dhabas. The department said that a total of 48 cases have been registered. This action will reduce the number of people serving liquor at illegal places late at night. This action will continue in future as well.
