Man carries live snake to the hospital in Ujjain; after being bitten by the snake, he brought it to identify species

A young man arrived at Charak Hospital in Ujjain carrying a live snake on Wednesday night. Sagar Chaudhary, the patient and a taxi driver from Shastri Nagar, told the duty doctor that the snake had bitten him and he needed treatment.
The doctor and nursing staff at the hospital were got frightened after seeing the snake in the emergency ward. They asked the patient to release it outside.
The patient named Sagar, told the doctor’s that he immediately caught the snake after being bitten so that doctors get to identify the specie. He also admitted that it was the first time he had ever caught a snake with his hands. The incident happened near Annapurna Temple at the Dewas Gate intersection while he was parking his vehicle.
“I thought if I brought the snake, so they could see exactly which snake bit me,” he said.
Snake released safely
During the conversation while he was explaining his situation, the snake slipped from Sagar’s hands but he managed to catch it again with difficulty. He placed the snake in a polythene bag and released it safely outside the hospital premises. Sagar added that he had been in a state of anger due to a family dispute earlier that day, which made the encounter even more stressful.
Treatment
After first aid at Charak Hospital, Sagar was admitted briefly but was discharged the next morning after his condition gets stabilised. Hospital staff confirmed that he had recovered without complications. Now he is safe.
