Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh today. He has participated in the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan being held at Jamburi Maidan here. To participate in the Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan, PM Narendra Modi reached the venue Jamburi Maidan in a specially prepared "open jeep" amidst strict security. Riding on the open jeep, PM Modi greeted the people, which mainly included women.

Modi reached the venue Jamburi Maidan from the airport by a special helicopter. He was seen riding in an open jeep while entering the meeting venue from the helipad. While boarding the open jeep, thousands of women were seen welcoming Modi on both sides of the road holding the tricolor in their hands. During this, PM Modi was also seen greeting the people present at the meeting venue by folding his hands and waving both hands.

PM Modi then went to visit various exhibitions set up near the venue. After this, PM Modi reached the stage and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works. On the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar ji, today Prime Minister Modi also released a commemorative postage stamp and a commemorative coin.
