Madhya Pradesh electricity distribution companies are now going to provide the facility of pre-paid meters after smart meters. First of all, the companies are emphasizing on changing the pre-paid meters in government offices.

In one or two months, first of all the smart meters installed in all government offices will be changed to pre-paid facility. After this, the work of changing the meters of common consumers will start. Like mobile balance, this meter will have to be recharged with advance amount before switching on the electricity. With the consumption of electricity every day, the balance will also decrease. Consumers will also have the facility to check the balance.
