Due to continuous rain in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh, Shaktipeeth place Pitambara Peeth temple is completely filled with water. The situation is such that water is filled from knees to waist. Haridra Kund of Pitambara Peeth is also completely submerged at this time.
Due to continuous rain in the district, Pitambara Peeth got filled with water. The north gate of the Peeth is completely submerged. Devotees are reaching the temple by crossing the water. Devotees coming from outside are facing a lot of difficulties. Due to continuous rain, water has now reached the main gate of the Peeth.
Municipality's indifference, no arrangement for water drainage
Pitambara Peeth manager Manoj Mudgil said that we are getting the water drained by installing a motor, but due to continuous rain the situation remains the same. The municipality has also been informed through a letter, but due to the indifference of the municipality, no arrangement has been made so far. Arrangement for water drainage is not being made from the temple premises.
