 Indore Health Department Gears Up for Emergency Amid India-Pakistan War

The Indore Health Department has ensured 24-hour emergency readiness with doctors on standby to handle any situation arising from the ongoing India-Pakistan conflict.

Indore. In view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, Indore Health Department is fully on alert. Special preparations have been made in government and private hospitals to deal with the emergency situation. In this episode, emergency beds have been reserved in 253 government and private hospitals of the city, out of which 6000 beds are with ICU and oxygen support. The purpose of this arrangement is to provide immediate treatment to the patients in case of emergency. The Health Department has deployed 3119 doctors for emergency services, including 3000 private and 119 government doctors. These doctors will be ready to provide service 24 hours a day, so that patients can get expert treatment in any situation.

To ensure that there is no shortage of blood in an emergency, 2800 units of blood have been reserved in the blood banks of the city. The Health Department has ensured that blood can be made available immediately if needed. All leaves of government doctors have been cancelled. At the same time, private doctors have also been instructed to remain on alert for 24 hours. The Health Department has instructed all hospitals to be ready for emergency services.
