The process of transfer of employees from constable to sub-inspector who have been posted in the same police station for a long time has started. Their records will be taken out and reviewed. A report will have to be sent from every district by June 16. After that, these policemen who have been posted for a long time will be removed.
The Police Headquarters has issued instructions to all the Police Commissioners (Indore/Bhopal) and District Superintendents of Police of the state to ensure the transfer of employees posted in police stations for a long time. According to the order issued, any employee from constable to sub-inspector level will not be kept in a police station for more than 4 years (and 5 years in special circumstances).
It has also been instructed that no employee should be posted again on the same post in the same police station after completion of the tenure. If someone has to be brought back to the same police station on a different post, then a gap of at least 3 years will be necessary. Apart from this, the total posting period of any employee on different posts in the same subdivision should not exceed 10 years. It has also been clarified in this order that the period of attachment will also be considered included in the service period.
