Finance Department issued orders for salary hike of contract workers.
The salary of 1.5 lakh contract officers and employees of Madhya Pradesh has been increased by 2.94 percent. The Finance Department has issued its orders on Thursday evening. Contract employees will get the benefit of salary hike from April 1, 2025.
Based on the circular of the General Administration Department dated 22 July 2023, this increase has been fixed at 2.94 percent on the Consumer Price Index report. That is, now every officer and employee will get 2.96 percent increased salary from 1 April 2025 in the salary they are getting as on 31 March 2025. The Finance Department issued instructions for salary hike to the heads of all departments, Divisional Commissioner, Revenue Board Chairman, all Collectors. At the same time, the contract employees demand that they should be given dearness allowance like regular employees.
