BCLL bus drivers on strike: Bus services on 12 routes affected, thousands of passengers troubled

Bus drivers and conductors of BCLL (Bhopal City Link Limited) of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, have gone on an indefinite strike. Due to the strike, low-floor buses are not running on some routes of the city. The strike started with a protest at the Baghsewania depot, where drivers and conductors raised slogans against BCLL and the bus operator. Passengers are facing problems due to this strike as buses are not running on some routes. Bus drivers and conductors are on strike due to non-payment of salary and gratuity fund PF. Bus services on 12 routes have been affected due to the strike.

Reasons for the strike:

Drivers and conductors are angry due to non-payment of salary and GF.

Drivers say that they will remain on strike until their demands are met.

Effects of the strike:

Bus services on six routes have been affected.

Thousands of passengers are facing problems for their daily travel.
