Pandit Dhirendra Shastri Urges Devotees Not to Visit Bageshwar Dham on Guru Purnima Due to Rain and Crowd

Citing heavy rainfall and expected large crowds, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri has appealed to devotees to avoid visiting Bageshwar Dham on the occasion of Guru Purnima for safety and convenience.

 

Heavy rains are continuing in Madhya Pradesh. Life has been disrupted due to rain. A devotee died in Bageshwar Dham of Chhatarpur district a few days ago due to the collapse of a tent. Today, on Tuesday, a devotee from Uttar Pradesh died and 11 devotees were injured due to the collapse of a dhaba wall. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. In view of these incidents, Peethadheeshwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham has appealed to the people not to come to the Dham. He made this appeal on social media Facebook on Tuesday morning.

Dhirendra Shastri wrote on Facebook - Due to excessive crowd before Guru Purnima, devotees and devotees are appealed to worship from home on the day of Guru Purnima and come before or after, because there is a crowd of more than one lakh at the Dham. It is raining a lot due to which you may have to face trouble, so that you do not get troubled, come to the Dham before or after Guru Purnima.
