Government Woman Lawyer Caught Red-Handed Taking ₹15,000 Bribe for Case Pleading, Arrested by Lokayukta

A government-appointed woman lawyer was arrested by the Lokayukta while accepting a bribe of ₹15,000 in exchange for pleading a legal case. The trap was laid after a complaint was filed, and the lawyer was caught red-handed during the operation.

 

In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Lokayukta police caught a woman government lawyer Kuku Dutt red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. The woman government lawyer had demanded Rs 15,000 from the complainant for pleading his case. The victim complained about this to the Lokayukta. On the basis of which, Lokayukta police laid a trap and as soon as the complainant gave Rs 15,000 to the woman government lawyer, Lokayukta caught her.

Actually, recently, the Madhya Pradesh government had appointed a woman government lawyer to plead the case of Bihari Lal, a resident of Civil Lines. As per the government's instructions, the appointed government lawyer cannot ask for money from the complainant. But despite that, the woman government lawyer had demanded Rs 15,000 from the complainant. Not only this, the victim says that the woman lawyer had told him that if he did not give her Rs 15,000, she would not work on his case. Due to which he would lose his case again.
