Hooliganism by Congress MLA’s Son! Accused of Assaulting Driver, Casteist Abuse Alleged; BJP Slams Silence

A Congress MLA’s son has been accused of thrashing a driver and using casteist slurs during the incident. The victim claims the local police showed bias in handling the case. The BJP has launched a sharp attack, demanding strict action and questioning the Congress leadership’s silence.

Congress MLA from Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Yadavendra Singh's son has been accused of assaulting a Dalit driver and using caste-based insult. The incident took place when the MLA's son's Scorpio car (number MP04 ZK 8121) hit a parked dumper from behind. The victim driver Babu Kahar alleged that the MLA's son and the government gunman accompanying him not only assaulted him, but also insulted him by using casteist words.

The dumper broke down at Kaliyasot Valley

According to the victim driver Babu Kahar, his dumper broke down at Kaliyasot Valley on July 14 at 2 pm. During this time, a high-speed Scorpio hit the dumper from behind. A little later, a young man and a gunman wearing a safari suit reached there. The young man introduced himself as the son of Tikamgarh MLA Yadavendra Singh. The driver claims that when he refused to accept his mistake, the young man and the gunman accompanying him forcibly made him sit in the Scorpio and beat him up.
