The havoc of rain was seen in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. Due to the natural calamity, there is waterlogging in the city as well as villages. Due to the rain in Bhopal since late night, many areas were flooded. Shops, houses and low-lying areas were flooded with water up to three to four feet. Water also filled on Indore-Bhopal highway.
Due to the rain in the capital Bhopal since late night, the condition of the roads is bad. Bhopal-Indore highway was submerged near Bairagarh Bada Talab. Traffic is getting affected due to waterlogging on the highway. Children are facing difficulties in going to school.
Water level of Bada Talab increased
Water has been falling in the capital for the last 48 hours. The water level of Bada Talab has increased due to continuous rain. The water level of Bada Talab increased from 1660.40 feet to 1660.65 feet. The level of Kolar Dam has increased from 454.89 meters to 454.94 meters, the water level of Kaliyasot Dam has increased from 502.75 meters to 502.80 meters. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Bhopal today on Tuesday.
