CM Dr. Mohan Yadav Introduces School Management Committees in 83,000 MP Schools

In a major step towards strengthening basic education, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced the formation of School Management Committees in 83,000 schools across Madhya Pradesh to ensure better participation, transparency, and quality learning.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has taken another important step towards strengthening basic education. School management committees will be formed in 83 thousand schools of the state on August 29. In these committees, parents and teachers will together prepare a new framework for the education and development of schools.

These committees formed under the Right to Education Act will work for better management of schools. These committees will be formed on the same day in all primary and secondary schools. Members of the committees will monitor the enrollment of children, their attendance, mid-day meals and basic facilities in schools.
The Chief Minister has directed the collectors of all the districts to ensure the necessary arrangements for this process. This initiative will not only strengthen the management of schools, but will also prove helpful in improving the level of education.
