Congress has 1,004 blocks in the state
40 days have been given to complete the appointment process. Congress has 1,004 blocks in the state. The weakness of the organisation was considered to be the major reason for the crushing defeat of Congress at the hands of BJP in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
With the aim of strengthening the organization, the year 2025 is being celebrated as the organization year. District presidents were selected to strengthen the district units. Now these presidents have to form units below them.
The state unit of Congress has asked the district presidents to form such a team in view of the local conditions, which does not waver from the ideology even in adverse circumstances. It should be combative and fight the BJP and the government strongly.
District unit is the most important
Madhya Pradesh Congress Organization General Secretary Sanjay Kamle says that the district unit is the most important in the organization. In this regard, the role of district presidents becomes important. For the appointment of block presidents, the district president will determine the names and send them to the state Congress and the list will be released from here.
The first test of the district presidents
Appointments at the block level will be the first test of the district presidents. In this, they will not only have to manage caste and local equations with senior leaders but also prepare a team that is in line with Rahul Gandhi's wishes, that is, for whom the party is first, not the leader. The coordination committee will assist the district presidents in this work; the state Congress has directed to hold its meetings by September 26.
