In a significant administrative reshuffle, Neeraj Kumar Singh, a 2012-batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Union Minister of State Jitin Prasada. The appointment was made pursuant to an order from the Ministry of Personnel, and Neeraj Kumar Singh is currently on central deputation. Neeraj Kumar Singh was recently promoted from the post of Ujjain District Collector in the Madhya Pradesh government to Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department. His new responsibility will provide him with an opportunity to play a key role at the central level.

Working with Jitin Prasada, who is the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and Electronics and Information Technology, Neeraj Kumar Singh will assist in policy decisions and departmental work.
