Mohan Cabinet OKs Power Plants, Doctors & Tourist Air Links

Cabinet approves ₹23,000 crore for two thermal power plants, 354 new senior resident doctor posts, and launches air services to connect tourist spots.
Several important proposals were approved in the Madhya Pradesh cabinet meeting. Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya informed the media about the cabinet decisions. The cabinet thanked PM Modi for his visit to Dhar. The Madhya Pradesh government will further the PM's "Healthy Women, Empowered Family" campaign. The campaign will be launched under the name of Aadi Seva Parv.
Thermal Power in Sarani and Amarkantak in the state
The cabinet approved a proposal for two thermal power plants worth ₹23,000 crore. Power plants of 660 MW each will be installed in Sarani and Amarkantak in the state. The Sarni thermal power plant will cost ₹11,678 crore, and the Amarkantak thermal power plant will cost ₹11,476 crore.
Air service to all religious and tourist areas
354 new posts for senior resident doctors have also been approved. The posts have been approved for 13 hospitals in the state, including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. In Madhya Pradesh, one year of resident doctor experience is required for faculty in medical colleges. Air service has also been approved in all religious and tourist areas of Madhya Pradesh. Helicopter service will begin in all religious and tourist areas of the state. For this purpose, Madhya Pradesh has been divided into three sectors.
