MP Nursing Colleges to Get Accreditation Soon

After a delay of over two months, nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh are finally set to receive their accreditation within the next one or two days, bringing relief to students and institutions.

 

Accreditation for nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh is expected to be issued within a day or two. Approximately 200 colleges, with over 20,000 seats, are expected to receive accreditation. According to the Indian Nursing Council's calendar, the admission process was to be completed by September 30th, but delays in inspections have impacted the process.
The admission process for nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh will begin within a week. Prior to this, preparations are underway to issue accreditation for nursing colleges within a day or two. Approximately 200 colleges are expected to receive accreditation, potentially offering over 20,000 seats. According to the Indian Nursing Council's calendar, the admission process was to be completed by September 30th, but due to delays in inspections, accreditation has not yet been issued. Admissions after the stipulated date will require special permission from the state government.
According to the MP Nursing Council's calendar, college inspections were to be completed by July 14th, and accreditation was to be issued after that date. A total of 172 colleges, both new and old, had applied for accreditation, which were to be inspected. After the nursing scam came to light across the state, the responsibility of conducting inspection was given to the collectors for the first time, but they did not take interest.
