Vigilance Week 2025 Kicks Off at CRWS Bhopal with Integrity Pledge and Events

A week-long Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with great fervor at the Coach Rehabilitation Workshop (CRWS) in Bhopal. The 2025 edition, organized under the leadership of Chief Workshop Manager (CWM) Prafulla V. Kohade, aims to reinforce a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct among all employees.

The event was set in motion with CWM Kohade administering a solemn Integrity Pledge to a large gathering of officers and staff members. The ceremony saw participation from senior officials including Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineers Sohan Singh Parmar and Hanuman Prasad Meena, Deputy Chief Materials Manager Manoj Kumar Singh, and other departmental heads.

The Welfare Section of the Personnel Department has curated a series of engaging activities for the week. These include essay writing and debate competitions, alongside a special quiz, all designed to spark dialogue and deepen understanding of vigilance-related themes like accountability and probity in public life.

The week will culminate significantly on October 31, which marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The workshop will observe National Unity Day with a Unity Pledge and a dynamic 'Run for Unity' rally. This finale is planned to symbolize the collective commitment of the CRWS workforce towards both ethical governance and national integration.
