Additional Security at Airport Amid Indo-Pak Tensions

Amid Indo-Pak tensions, airports have heightened security, advising passengers to arrive 2-3 hours early for check-in. Airlines have also announced significant discounts to ease travel concerns during this period.

Bhopal. An alert has been issued in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, amid Indo-Pak tension. Additional security is being taken at Bhojraj Airport. In such a situation, passengers are being advised to check-in 2 to 3 hours in advance.

Let us tell you that now the check-in counter at the airport will close 75 minutes before the scheduled time of the flight. This rule will be applicable for domestic flights. If passengers reach before the scheduled time for check-in, they will not have any problem in getting the boarding pass.

Full money will be given on flight cancellation
Air India and Air India Express have announced that defense personnel who have booked tickets on defense fare. They will get full money back on canceling the flight for travel till 31 May 2025. Also, a discount will also be given once on rescheduling.

While for getting a refund, general passengers can visit Air India's website or app and request a refund by going to the Manage Booking section. On the other hand, IndiGo has completely waived off the charges for changing or cancelling the date or time of travel for all flights.

Capital in alert mode

Alert mode has been adopted in the capital in view of disaster management. The city has been divided into 7 zones. A team has been formed under the leadership of SDM in every zone. These teams include officials from police, administration, food and other departments. Apart from this, civil defense volunteers have also been activated. These teams have been deployed to deal with the disaster, so that quick and effective action can be ensured in an emergency situation.
