After NCERT, Demand for Correct History Teaching: MP Alok Sharma’s Statement on Bhopal
Bhopal, MP
BJP MP Alok Sharma sparked debate saying Bhopal should not be portrayed only as a city of Muslims and minorities, demanding correct history be taught in schools after NCERT changes.
After the NCERT curriculum that blames Congress for the partition of the country, now there is a demand to teach correct history in Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal MP Alok Sharma has given a big statement on the matter.
Bhopal is not a city of Muslims and minorities
MP Sharma said- Bhopal has a glorious history of 1 thousand years. It has a glorious culture. Bhopal is not only of Muslims. Bhopal is not only of minorities. Bhopal belongs to Emperor Ashoka, Bhopal belongs to Chandragupta Maurya, Bhopal belongs to Raja Bhoj. It belongs to the Parmar dynasty, Bhopal belongs to Queen Kamlapati. The period of 700 years belonged to Hindu rulers, then Begum came, Nawab came, naming was done. Somewhere Rashidiya School, somewhere Hamidia School, somewhere an institution in the name of Hamidullah.
This true history should be told to the coming generation
The partition of this country happened at the behest of Muslim League, at the behest of British government, because of the traitor of the country Jinnah, because of Congress. In the coming time, the work of teaching the right lesson will be done. Congress divided the undivided India. The country was divided for votes. Now it will be taught where Nehru made mistakes. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was removed. This true history should be told to the coming generation.
The last Nawab of Bhopal, Hamidullah was a traitor
No one was more traitor than the last Nawab of Bhopal, Hamidullah. Due to this, we got independence late and he considered Jinnah as God. We have all the records. The Nawab of Hyderabad, the Nawab of Junagadh, the Nawab of Bhopal, all of them wanted to merge with Pakistan. Now there is a need to read new history. The names of the places named after them should also be changed.
