Australia vs New Zealand in Indore; Traffic Advisory Issued

As Australia and New Zealand face off in Indore, authorities have released a traffic plan. Commuters are advised to avoid certain routes to prevent congestion.

The Women's World Cup matches will begin at Indore's Holkar Stadium on October 1st. The first match will be played between Australia and New Zealand. A large number of spectators will be expected at the stadium. To avoid crowds and chaos, the traffic police have implemented a special diversion and parking plan, which will be in effect from 1 pm on the day of the match until the end of the match.

Entry and Parking Arrangements
Only vehicles with passes will be allowed to park near the stadium. Parking areas have been designated for these purposes: Vivekananda School, Basketball Complex, Yashwant Club, Abhay Prashal, and ITC Parking. Spectators without passes will have to park at Bal Vinay Mandir School, SGSIT Campus, and Pancham Ki Fel Ground. These parking areas will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Spectators will enter the stadium from Janjirawala Square and Pancham Ki Fel.

Restricted Route
The route from Lantern Square to Janjirawala Square will be closed except for vehicles with passes and emergency vehicles.
Entry of loaded vehicles will be strictly prohibited on MG Road, Race Course Road, Bhandari Bridge, and Rajkumar Bridge.

Diversion Plan
Vehicles from Regal Square towards the High Court/Palasia will be diverted via Madhumilan.
Vehicles from Vijay Nagar will be diverted towards Marimata via LIG, Patnipura, and Kulkarni Bhatta Bridge.
Traffic from Geeta Bhavan to Ghantaghar will be diverted via Dhakkanwala Kuan.
Avoid the Palasia to Ghantaghar, High Court, and Regal routes, Malva Mill to Lantern Square, Geeta Bhavan to Ghantaghar, and Malva Mill to Janjirwala Road.

Traffic police have requested spectators to use city buses and public transport to the maximum extent possible, as parking facilities around the stadium are very limited. City buses will drop spectators off near Ghantaghar and High Court Square, from where they can reach the stadium on foot.
