Bhopal Metro Removes Fare Collection Work from Turkiye Company

In Bhopal, Metro authorities have taken back the fare collection responsibility from a Turkiye-based company.
Turkiye company has been boycotted in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. Metro has taken away the work of fare collection from Turkiye's company.
In fact, Turkiye's company had ordered 45 gates. Metro has refused to install them. Instructions have also been received from the central government to cancel the contract.
Let us tell you that during Operation Sindoor, Pakistan used Turkiye's company's drones against India. After which Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya had raised questions on Turkiye company getting the contract in the Metro project. Bhopal Metro is a proposed rapid transport project for Bhopal city, India. This system is divided into 3 corridors, whose total length is 27.87 kilometers. About ₹8,000 crore (US$1.17 billion) will be spent on this project.
