Big Action on Negligence: 6 CHOs Dismissed, Salary Cut Orders for 2 Others

In a major crackdown on negligence, six community health officers (CHOs) have been dismissed from service, while salary deductions have been ordered for two others. Strict action aims to ensure accountability in healthcare services.
Major action has been taken against negligence in the Health Department in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The Collector has taken major action against negligence and dismissed 06 Community Health Officers from service. They have been threatened with dismissal for not discharging their duties. Similarly, instructions have also been given to cut the salary of 02 CHOs.
Collector Ruchika Chauhan has given these instructions in the meeting of the District Health Committee. The Collector has given strict instructions that- "Any kind of negligence in the implementation of health facilities will not be tolerated".
