Assault on YouTuber: Mobile Snatched, Slaps Follow
Vishwas Chandravanshi, a YouTuber from Kalapipal in Shajapur district, arrived at Iklera Gram Panchayat with associates Jitendra Nayak and Dharmendra Bamaniya for a coverage story. They called Shravan Patidar, Sarpanch of Iklera and BJP District Vice President Rajgarh, to meet.
On their way back, Patidar and supporters allegedly stopped their car, snatched mobiles and keys, and interrogated them. Chandravanshi claims Patidar grabbed his collar, dragged him out, and slapped him. A viral video shows the chaos, with the BJP leader assaults YouTuber scene unfolding publicly.
The trio was then taken to a nearby warehouse, beaten again, and forced on camera to deny the assault under threats. Chandravanshi filed a complaint at the SP office against Patidar and others.
Journalist’s Home Vandalized: Bike, Car Destroyed
Hours later, the fury spilled over. Sanjay, a local journalist in Talen police station area (Iklera), alleged intruders—led by Patidar—smashed into his home around 11 PM Monday, suspecting him of sharing the viral video.
