The administration is continuously taking action against illegal colonies in the capital Bhopal. Action was taken against two illegal colonies in Lambakheda of the city. In this action, valuable land worth 9 crores was freed. Here plots were being cut in the land without permission.
On the instructions of Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Officer Huzur Vinod Sonkia, a joint team of Revenue Department, Police, Municipal Corporation and District Administration removed the illegal plotting being done on the land Khasra number 147/2/1 hectare of land situated in village Lambakheda, land owner Arjun Singh son Kishanlal's land area 0.405 hectare, whose market value is about 4 crore rupees.
In the second action, an illegal colony built on the land Khasra number 254/2 of land owner Gulab Singh son Bhawani Singh situated in village Lambakheda, area 0.465 hectare, whose wall and road worth the market value of 5 crore rupees were demolished. Illegal acts like construction of illegal colonies will not be accepted by the district administration under any circumstances. The administration will take strict and continuous action against all such encroachments.
