In a major crackdown, the Central GST team caught a truck carrying pan masala and tobacco being supplied without proper bills. Action has been initiated against the suppliers.
Central GST Caught Truck Full Of Pan Masala: Central GST has taken a big action in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A truck carrying pan masala and tobacco has been caught. After which the officers reached the CGST headquarters directly with it. The truck was going from Delhi to Katni Investigation has revealed that the truck full of pan masala was being taken from Delhi to Katni. But the supply was being done without e-way bill. The GST team had received information that goods were being carried in a Rajasthan passing truck. Based on the information, the GST team stopped the truck on Katni Road and questioned.

The officers seized the truck and took it to the headquarters The truck driver could not provide any documents during interrogation. The officers seized the truck for transporting without any valid documents and took the vehicle to the headquarters for inspection of the goods along with the documents. Now the team has started investigating this matter. The action has been taken under the guidance of GST Divisional Commissioner Lokesh Kumar Lilhare.
